Procurement Guide for Full Chromatogram Polypropylene Tape/ Identification Tape
(Disclaimer: Some of the information in this article is sourced from the internet. Please carefully identify and use it.)

Product Overview: The cable identification tape is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) as the substrate, with a temperature resistance of 168 ℃, various colors (white, red, blue, yellow, green, etc.), and a tensile strength of ≥ 40N/cm. It is specially designed for cable core classification and management.
Key performance indicators (for reference only, not used as procurement standards)
- Weather resistance: After 2000 hours of QUV testing, the retention rate of tensile strength is ≥ 90%.
- Environmental friendliness: PVC free, tested by SGS (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons PAHs<1ppm).
- Color accuracy: The color conforms to Pantone standards, with a color difference Δ E ≤ 1.5.
Application scenarios
Suitable for core identification and bundling of data center cables, communication optical cables (GYTA), and complex cabling systems.
Procurement precautions
- Material selection: HDPE (excellent weather resistance) is selected for outdoor scenes, and PP (10% lower cost) is available for indoor scenes.
- Testing requirements: Sampling test for color code wear resistance (no fading after wiping with alcohol 100 times).
- Price reference: Low prices may be for secondary recycled materials. Avoid choosing low-priced products without testing reports.
